CapsoVision gets FDA clearance for AI Highlights

CapsoVision, Inc. (NASDAQ: CV) said AI Highlights, its AI-assisted reading tool for CapsoCam Plus, received FDA clearance on September 25, 2026. The company says it is a commercial-stage medical technology company developing imaging and AI-enabled capsule endoscopy solutions. The tool is meant to support physicians reviewing small bowel capsule endoscopy studies for suspected small bowel bleeding. It is intended for adult and pediatric patients over two years of age.

Why it matters

The next named product is CapsoCam Colon with enhanced AI, designed to enable non-invasive colon imaging and polyp detection.

The release gives no U.S. commercial launch timing or pricing for AI Highlights. Investors still need later updates to judge the rollout. Progress on CapsoCam Colon with enhanced AI would support the platform thesis. If follow-through is limited, this clearance stays a small-bowel workflow update.
