What happened
Nebius Group N.V. (NASDAQ: NBIS) made live GPU spot prices public on October 21. The move gives investors a new view of how the company prices interruptible computing capacity.
Spot instances can be reclaimed when capacity is needed elsewhere. Customers accept that risk in exchange for lower prices, while Nebius Group N.V. (NASDAQ: NBIS) can sell capacity that might otherwise sit idle.

Why it matters
The published floors are steep. An NVIDIA H100 spot hour starts at $0.79 versus $4.50 on demand, an 82.4% discount. H200 starts at $0.79 versus $5.40, an 85.4% discount.
Newer chips show an even wider gap. B200 spot capacity starts at $0.99 versus $8.50 on demand, an 88.4% discount. B300 starts at $0.99 versus $9.50, an 89.6% discount.
Those comparisons do not show that Nebius Group N.V. (NASDAQ: NBIS) normally sells GPUs at the floor. The company says spot prices can change every 15 minutes with capacity, utilization and customer bids. The floor is therefore a market entry point, not an average selling price.
The useful change is transparency. Investors can now watch whether spot rates rise toward on-demand prices when capacity tightens or stay deeply discounted when supply exceeds short-term demand. The public seven-day history also makes regional price changes reproducible instead of relying on management commentary alone.
The countercase is straightforward. A wide discount may improve utilization while reducing revenue per GPU-hour. Interruptible workloads also differ from reserved production capacity, so spot demand cannot establish pricing power across the broader business.

What's next
The next test is the relationship between public spot prices and company-reported revenue, gross profit and utilization. Rising spot rates alongside stronger margins would support the case that scarce capacity is monetizing well.
For now, the disclosure modestly strengthens the investment case by making demand more measurable. It does not prove durable pricing power or operating leverage.
